Great story!

It reminds me of an incident few years ago. I went to meet once again with a CEO with high hopes, almost certain, that we would start a joint development project. To my surprise he said they had just mailed their catalogue and were so busy answering phone calls they had no time for any development project.

I did not know what to say. We were both quiet for a moment sitting in an open space office cubicle.

Then I said "I do not here phones ringing."

The project was started.

Thanks Joanne. Now the house/office move is almost over it's time to build on what was achieved. Thanks for being such a solid advocate. It is much appreciated.

Fabulous review Malcolm, and so glad it went well for you at Like Minds - I felt sure it might. Never mind about running out of time - that was the intention. Have to leave people wanting more! :)

Hi Scott, So sorry not to respond sooner. The builders are in to sort the new home office and my response times are a little slow.

My first Like Minds conference was a great experience on personal, business and personal development levels.

Thanks for being brave enough to take a punt on a new format departure for the Like Minds conference. I'm really glad it seems to have paid off for everyone who made the commitment.

Many things would not have happened for 12boxes without meeting people through Like Minds.

Warm regards,

Malcolm

Hi Malcolm

I like this! Really good to see last week through the eyes of a speaker, especially as it was an experiment to see how it would go this time as well.

First of all I'm glad that 12 hours in 5 and a bit paid off for those involved. Secondly, I'm glad that in return you've got a future 12boxes lined up and more so that Jay hit you with that one liner - that indeed is a good one!

Finally, glad to know the week inspired you and that it wasn't just me in a state of silence after those 3 days.

We appreciate you greatly!

Thanks for the feedback. I take your point about the crossfades and the background. As it happened, there was rather a lot on the cutting room floor that day. I thought the piece was going to be about one thing, and then it turned out to be about something else. :)

Reasonable start Malcolm. Content is great. Just need to think about what you are going to stand in front of (background distracting) and make sure we see more of you (didn't even see all of your face). Also, would be better if a short video such as this could be done in one take rather than having the edited gaps which were evident here. Don't worry about a few pauses or hesitations as it makes it more natural and more personal. Good luck!
